How It All Began

Co-Founders

Mareya Schneider and Frances Watson are licensed ministers through Greater Faith Temple Church of God. Both have been in ministry for many, many years. They have been instrumental in helping women and men restore their lives and reunify their families. Mareya and Frances are committed to the work they do. God has blessed them to expand the program to help men, women, and families to turn their lives around. One of their goals is to expand the program to help mothers and children as well as initiate a program for teens. The Florida Alcohol and Drug Abuse Association, Inc. (Minority Issues Committee) selected both Mareya and Frances as their “Persons of the Year” for the entire State. They are annual participants of the Governor’s State Wide Drug Control Summit. They have partnered with the local Police Department to clean up the streets in the area of the program’s location. Mareya and Frances started the First Business Crime Watch in the community.

Betty Sammartino

Betty & husband Al & family moved from Long Island, NY to Vero Beach 20+ years ago & immediately became active in their new community . When not involved in our business Coastal Automotive Equipment Sales we find plenty of volunteer opportunities to keep us busy.

I first visited Restoration House as a member of The Missions Board of Community Church in 1997 and immediately became a believer in their mission.

Having been raised in a home destroyed by alcohol addiction I realized the potential Restoration House has for rehabilitating families.
